After a couple of days of testing out Gesture and learning about the theory and the means behind it I've finally got that piece of GST nailed down.

Im now onto Structure and finally I feel like I'm getting somewhere he he

I've made a conscious decision to keep my sketches done via pencil and paper, Various reasons for it really;-

A) Can portably carry about sketchbooks/pads and pencils and sketch anywhere I want.
B) Tablets are absolutely awful for sketching, doing gesture and structure on, with no drag behind strokes it feels so un-natural.
C) Sticking to the old school method, Using my tablet purely for coloring, shading and inking, Everything else will be done on paper with a mechanical pencil.

Within the next week I hope to have Structure pretty much nailed and then I can move onto Technique, adding the minor details into the structure to make up the final piece of sketches.

On the side I'll be fiddling with my tablet and testing out shading methods, coloring in and such before my Painter trial runs out lol

So all in all - Im making steady progress, im taking things slow because I don't want to mis-inter prate when im reading and learning, Nothing worse than having to back-track, Im playing it safe and steady

I am looking forward to getting GST nailed so I can finally test out things and develop my own style ^_^
